Our Vision
We are passionate and committed to raising the standard of PE in Primary Schools, the lessons delivered and the ability of the pupils in those lessons. We feel it is paramount that PE lessons are enjoyable, encouraging pupils to enjoy a healthy and active lifestyle by finding something during a lesson they enjoy and will continue to enjoy throughout their lives. We deliver all sports and activities across the National Curriculum and by adopting a Teaching Games for Understanding to Multi-Skills, it fosters creativity and decision making whilst maintaining enjoyment, essential to sustaining physical activity in young people.
We feel strongly that level of ability in young people needs to be improved before they reach secondary school and our approach to teaching PE will help to achieve this. We want to use our links with local clubs to increase the number of children taking part in physical activity outside of school, again through increasing enjoyment and the amount of time spent playing sport this will raise the standard but also increase the amount of physical activity being undertaken.
We aim to deliver high-quality physical education that inspires all pupils to succeed and excel in competitive sport and other physically-demanding activities. Key Stage Coaching aspires to achieve the aims of the National Curriculum and ensure that all pupils:
